A defect has been identified in the BMS (Battery Management System) of B20 bikes. This concerns B20 bikes that use an outdated battery. When using an outdated battery, there is an increased risk of overheating and fire during charging, especially when the charger is not disconnected after the battery is fully charged. This poses a danger to user safety.
1. Stop using immediately
You must stop using the B20 immediately. Do not charge the B20 anymore.
2. Return bicycle
We kindly request you to return the B20 bike to our store in Hoofddorp:
- • Airborne Avenue 87, 2133LV, Hoofddorp — Mon to Fri 10 AM–5 PM
3. Receive compensation
You can exchange your B20 for another model. The purchase price of the B20 will be deducted from the price of the new model. You will then only pay the remaining amount, depending on the model you choose.
Conditions:
- You must be able to present a valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) to be eligible for the trade-in promotion.
- Did you purchase your bike through an authorized dealer? Then, depending on the condition of the bike and the original purchase price, you will receive a trade-in discount of up to €325.
- Do you not have proof of purchase? Then, depending on the condition of the bike, you will receive a trade-in discount of up to €200.
